What are Airplants?
Airplants are exotic plants from central and South America. They are low care (but definitely not no care) plants. There are members of the pineapple family, Bromeliaceae.

You can mount them onto wood, shells, rocks, punga logs or trees to make decorations or gifts. Use PVA glue and secure with rubber band until set. You can even use a hot glue gun, just let it cool a little before you poke the plant into it.

How Big do they Grow?
Tillandsias are slow growing and most will gradually form clumps. These can be up to the size of a football, depending on the variety.
Clumps may be divided. Offshoots develop after flowering, producing several new plants.
How to Care for them?
Tillandsias are really low maintenance. They don't require soil. In nature they use roots to cling to rocks. They take in their food and water supply through the leaves.
Airplants will grow inside or outdoors in frost free places.
